These are the slides I used for my presentation at MAX unconference event. Though the audio was not recorded, I hope you find them useful.

  1. Very useful, even without audio. Makes a very good point with the new injectors and makes sense. When you will have the examples with this tags? it will be interesting to see them working on a live example. I have read just one complaint to this approach. Keep the good work. Thanks for this contributions and congrats!
  2. This is incredible!! Thank you very much for all your hard work! I second Jose's request and hope to see the examples with the tags. Congratulations on your presentation, I wish I could have been there.
  3. i was there and it was a GREAT presentation....
  4. I second that, I was there too and it was great! Fantastic job!
  5. Can you record the audio now. you prolly remember the presentation. create a separate audio and share it. I'll make a complete presentation out of it. no one will be able to tell :)
  6. I went to MAX 2008 and didn't attend this session, but I wish I had. However, the PDF is so well done I could follow and understand it easily. Thanks very much.
  7. In the presentation you show the CallBack and ListenerInjector tags. Neither of these show up in the taglist under the documentation link. Are these new ,not yet documented tags, old, no longer supported tags, or old, just forgot to add them to the documentation tags ?

I saw your presentation at MAX and it got me to try Mate, which I really like. We will probably use it for most new applications at my company.

I am planning to use this presentation to introduce Mate to my user group, the Flex Developers Network of the Capital District (Albany NY area).
  8. Can I just say how appreciated it is that you spent so much time on those slides? 136-slide presentation? WOW. Unheard of. Very VERY few people take the time to be extremely clear and systematic when communicating their thoughts to other people. I'm sure you spent an enormous amount of time to produce those slides and the result is that it's incredibly clear, even without audio. And that's to say nothing of how nice Mate itself is as a framework!!
