I've uploaded my presentation slides in PDF format. While they don't contain the animations that described event flow, I hope they will still be useful.

It's good to know you like Mate, specially coming from somebody who has made some detailed critiques to other frameworks :)
On one hand, Its like a new and improved version of Cairngorm that addresses all its flaws while retaining the good stuff. On the other hand, its like a version of PureMVC built for Flex instead of pure AS3.
I've been longing to get rid of all those Model.getInstance() calls from my views for a long time.
So, thanks for the framework and I hope it catches on with more people soon.
Thanks for creating this!
Congrats for this framework. I was looking for some easy to use gui frameworks like the following (although these are for Java SE):

http://jmatter.org/
Thought I didn't find something similar, happily I found Mate. It seems easier to learn than the previously existing Cairngorm, easyMVC or ARP frameworks. Without being an expert, Mate seems simple and powerful than those other frameworks.
BTW, I've seen some other comparisons talking good about mate:

Nice job 'mate' people!
