Data Flow Diagram by Farata Systems

Yakov Fain of Farata Systems have been evaluating Flex frameworks and he has drawn a diagram that shows data flow in the case of injecting data from the model to the view directly.

The diagram corresponds to the case shown in the documentation called Two-way communication via model: Using view injection.

AIR applications have another way to work that Flex doesn't and I am wondering where the connections support is for this segment of the framework. It seems like we should have this like the webservices, remoteobject and the like. There should be a tag set and functionality for working with the data store also.

    I guess it would make sense to ask if anyone is working with Mate and AIR at this time, or am I paving new ground once again?
